I posted in the event ticket area, but not sure it gets a lot of traffic. I have two mets tix for 9/14 on the Party City Deck. Its a single admission double header also. The PCD gives access to unlimited BEER< soda, water, and food. I paid 150 for each ticket from the mets directly and thats all im lookng to get..300 total for two games of unlimited beer and food! Tickets are ready to be emailed. I cant go because i moved to buffalo. The original game that got rained out was in June. Again, ill take 300obo, but at 150/each, its a great deal if you like beer and food!!

I've got 2 Tom Glavine cards in a Mets uniform, and was wondering if anyone would be interested? They are both from 2003 Leaf Limited.

The first is a 2003 Leaf Limited Moniker Tom Glavine GU/Auto serial #'d 5/5.

The second is a 2003 Leaf Limited Tom Glavine TNT GU/Bat card serial #'d 3/25.

PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks!

You know what, our SP is not looking too bad for next year (Exclude Hefner)....I can live with this (obviously Harvey is a ?) if you also factor in Mejia, Syndergaard and Montero.....All sub 4.00 ERA (except Hefner)....There is definite optimism from a SP stand point

The grid doesn't come up right on mobile, but I assume you are discounting Matsuzaka and Harang here, right? ;)

Sandy Alderson announced today that Terry Collins will return as manager of the Mets, agreeing to a two-year contract extension with an option for 2016.

In addition, the entire coaching staff will return for 2014.

Considering what he had to work with over the past few years, he deserves a chance to manage a couple more years....hopefully Alderson acquires some talent for him to work with.....

[h=1]Noah Syndergaard is the 3rd best pitching prospect in MLB[/h]October 3rd, 2013 10:42 am

Mets pitching prospects Noah Syndergaard and Rafeal Montero and catcher Travis d’Arnaud ended 2013 among the 75 best prospects in baseball, according to a recent list published by respected prospect guru John Sickels for Minor League Ball.

Sickels considers Syndergaard the league’s third-best pitching prospect and ‘one of his personal favorites.’
D’Arnaud ranked 24 on the list, while Montero checks in at 50.
Sickels ranked Syndergaard, d’Arnaud and Montero in similar spots during his mid-season report.
However, Wilmer Flores dropped from 71 during the summer to honorable mention this fall.Steven Matz, Kevin Plawecki and Cesar Puello were also listed by Sickels as honorable mentions.

Were you? For real? That must have been amazing!!

Yes, my Dad and I were season ticket holders from 84-93. Went to game 4 of the NLCS , when Mike Scott shut them down. Was also at Game 2 of the WS the Gooden/Clemens match up.

Was also at game 4 of 88 NLCS when Scoscia homered in the 9th to tie the game.

Memories...some good, some not so much...
