if something sells via best offer how can you tell how much?

im looking at completed listings and it will say an item sold and has the original price in green crossed out but doesnt say what the accepted best offer was? im confus

Sortsof.com is best.

There used to be all kinds of tricks, like changing eBay.com to eBay.co.uk, viewing the page source, and some other things. None of those work any more.

One other trick to keep in mind, if the others don't work for some reason (or if eBay finds a way to prevent them from working), is that if you sort sold auctions by price, the best offers will show up in order. So if, say, a Mike Trout 1/1 auto sold for a best offer, you searched for 'Mike Trout auto' in the sold listings, and the 1/1 showed up between items which sold for $450 and $500, you would know the 1/1 auto sold for between $450 and $500. By playing with the search terms to expand the sample size (e.g., from 'Mike Trout 1/1 rookie auto' to 'Mike Trout 1/1 auto' to Mike Trout auto' and so on) you can get a more precise number.
