Bubba Starling strained his hamstring yesterday. Likely headed for the disabled list. Team hasn't determined severity of injury yet.

Maikel Franco is expected to be promoted from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Cody Asche has been sent down in order to begin making a transition to left field. Franco hit his fourth home run of the season for Lehigh Valley on Monday and is sporting a .341 batting average. He hit just .179/.190/.214 in a cup of coffee with the big club last season and the 22-year-old still has plate discipline issues, but his upside makes him worthy of a flier in just about any format.
