Very nice vintage pickups. Love the Sporting News All Star subset.
The last two appear to be tougher, as the lower numbered ones have been tougher for me to find.

Went to a card show last month and got a number of cards and autographs. Most cards I got were modern, but did get this nice '59 Banks.

Thanks guys! It's real sharp and should be a higher grade card. I don't currently have a PSA account anymore, but when I get enough cards to send in, I'll sign up for another one and get it graded at that time.

This arrived the other day - down to just one more 1952 high number to finish my Dodgers set.

Since my vintage Bowman run is done, and I'm down to just the one card to complete the Topps run, I thought I'd start a few more sets. One brand I've always liked has been Red Man (chewing tobacco), which were issued between 1952 and 1955. Here are my first two, both from 1954. Ultimately, I think I'll collect them "with tab". Back in the day, a person could cut 50 of the tabs from the cards and send them in for their choice of a baseball cap.

Here's another set I'm starting: 1934-36 Diamond Stars. I picked up Van Lingle Mungo last week. I have to research whether the variations that exist within the set will affect the Dodgers or not.

Last one is this card from 1935 Goudey 4 in 1. It is the only card is the set to feature only Dodgers. There are a few other cards that feature just one Dodger as part of the four players featured on the card. I'll chase those down at some point.

Red Man & Diamond Stars are two of my favorites.

1959 Topps One Cent wrapper. Chose the one cent wrapper instead of 5 cent, as I bought all of my 1959's in 1 cent packs.

Yes, they did come with a cookie. The cookie was hard as a rock and the wrapper would probably have tasted just as good.
