Early 2000's Donruss/Playoff Beckett Samples

Does anyone have a list of which early 2000's baseball products from Donruss/Playoff had sample cards inserted in Beckett magazines back in the day? Were there only certain sets, or was it all Donruss/Playoff products in 2002 & 2003?

The Beckett.com listing shows that only certain sets had them, but as I'm now updating my Olerud wantlist on Zistle there seems to be more sets than Beckett says.

I think these are it. They had GOLD and SILVER for each except for the 2003 Playoff Portraits.

Weren't the "SAMPLE" 2003 Playoff Portraits from the front of the box, not in Beckett? Each box had one sample card you could remove (was attached with a small dab of rubber cement, under the cellophane wrap. Or did they do those on both the boxes and in Beckett?

I know the 3 I have came from Becketts.

All the samples I have came from Becketts too, but the different source explains the printed rather than foil "Sample".

I assume the 2003 Playoff Portraits Sample, being the only one printed and not foil, has just the one version (i.e. no silver and gold). Might be splitting hairs but do the Beckett sample and the samples from the boxes have the same font?

As far as the 2003 Playoff Portraits go, I have three versions for Jeter, a printed sample version, a printed promo version, and a blank back version. Anyone know if these were either on box or distributed through Beckett ?

I have these same 3 as well. Not sure how they were distributed though. There is also the Fanfest Green border promo cards. Portraits had a lot of samples/promos that year.

Yuo're right, I forgot about the green Fanfest. I also have the red National version as well.
