Don't mind the idea, it's kinda unique. And they may not have a ton of Giamatti autos to choose from so I'll give that a pass though I'd like cleaner, but that Rose auto looks horrible.

If the Ruth Red Sox is from a Sox bat that's a first for card collectors to the best of my knowledge.

It would seem Giamatti should have all kinds of signatures out there, being a professor and Yale president, but perhaps that type of document rarely sees the light of day. The pairing with Rose is just too gimmicky for me.

I would be willing to bet beer money that the bat itself is a NYYs item. To me, the wording suggests pictures in both uniforms and not bats from both teams in which he played.

It's a 1960's version and it's spectacular.

Well we will differ. If its a old version like you mentioned, fair enough it would be nice, but not on this card IMO. I don't associate Bart and Pete in the 60s. In the end I'm not buying the card so whoever does I'm sure they will just fine with it ;)

I agree that it doesn't fit. Just saying I would much rather have that sig than his mass produced version.
