I have one going in General Chat that's doing well, so I thought I would post on exclusively for sports.

Thread also applies to garage sales, antique shops, craigslist, classifieds, and any other outlet in that group.

Post away your best and most favorite finds.

The main thing I hunt for at thrift stores, flea markets, yard sales, craigslist ect are vintage starter jackets
I also look for vintage snap back hats, jerseys, sweaters ect...... but I come across all kinds of cool stuff

paid $40 sold for $450

paid $15 at flea market sold $650

paid $3 sold $125

paid $8 sold $120

paid $10 each sold both together for $100

Bo Jackson the ballplayer poster unrolled paid $1 sold for $100

bought 5 panda gnomes for $5 sold for average $60 each

paid $2.25 sold for $75

paid $5 sold for $71

Had no idea those Starter jackets brought so much coin. Gotta keep my eye out. Swear there were a few at the flea market I blew through today looking for a white elephant gift.

yeah I posted this video in the other thrift store thread ...lol my theme song

the raiders reversible is one of the rarest starters and it was brand new with tags super rare. I usually get about $100 each for em in good used condition some of the more popular teams up to $200-$250

I've only found a couple signed things at the stores. I'm hoping to find more as I go on.

I am also buying up fishing rods for $2-$3 in the hopes I can re-sell them.

I've found starter jackets,snap backs(New era/Buffalo cap),and also older higher high end equipment.No pictures,But ive found HOH gloves,a3000's,a2000's,even a old school titanium softball bat..I love yard sales!

Hey guys, because of this thread, I had the knowledge to buy this hat at Goodwill today for $5.00.

It's a Starter brand snapback hat.

Green bottom brim, 100% wool. Brim is still flat.

Thinking about listing it on ebay, any ideas on an BIN/BO I should post/accept?

I just found these 3 Snapbacks today for $1 each (eagles is a starter) At the flea market & this vintage coors light light up beer sign for $2 guy said he didn't think it worked but it did. Listed in Craigslist for $60 Obo

What type of bat was that? I remember there was a thread on here a year or so back, but I can't find it. What types of bats were those that sold so well?

Easton Z2k , Easton Redline Z Cores, redline c cores

They were the early 2000's -5 bats with the monster barrels made out of scandium alloy.
