Of course Law would make a comment like that, but at the same time, it's not like the Cubs are overflowing with talent right now.

Pretty aggressive move IMO...he's having a great season in A+ but I'm guessing he's going to be overmatched against the upgraded pitching in AA most of the rest of this season.

Maybe this means that Almora might be a Daytona in a few weeks.
In fact, I'm willing to bet that if Almora didn't break his hamate, he'd have Buxton like numbers right now and be in the running for #1 prospect.

Sorry man, but even if he hadn't broken his hamate, he wouldn't be in the discussion for #1 prospect right now.
