Figured it was fake. Just needed my suspicions confirmed. My guess is that this card was part of a large collection purchased by Burbank and that the seller bought or had to it altered before selling it.

Thanks guys.

To be specific, the upper and lower left patch edges look white/distressed and there are numerous scratch marks on the left patch edge/surface where the faker made contact. It'd a terrible fake being listed by one of the 4 sellers I block in my seller search.

To be fair, the windows on that set are somewhat rounded. I'd ask George to be sure, he's plenty familiar with the set and will have a better idea of the kind of patches are out there

LCM had nice patches in 2002 thru 2004. The collection that Burbank purchased seemed legit. I think until in-hand you will not know for sure but once it hand the 2003/04 fakes are easy to tell due to card thinkness.

Fake - Look at the single line stitching that is used. MLB stitching is much higher quality with the threads overlapping the border. The one used in that card is single segmented which has me perceive it is from a cheap patch that did not come from a game used/player worn item.
