Over the past few weeks I've bought eight older boxes at my local card store. 1999 Fleer Ultra ($19.95), 1999 Fleer Tradition ($14.95), 1995, Fleer ($14.95), 1992 Stadium Club Series 2 ($9.95), 1992 Pinnacle Series 1 ($9.95), 1989 Topps ($7.50), 1988 Fleer ($7.50), & 1988 Donruss ($7.50). Brought back a lot of great memories about my first go around with card collecting. Saw names/players I hadn't seen or heard of in years. I was able to add a lot to my collection. Here is a small sample of what I got: Donruss88.jpgFleer88.jpgFleer88a.jpgFleer95.jpgFleerTradition99.jpgFleerUltra99.jpgFleerUltra99a.jpgPinnalce92.jpgPinnalce92a.jpgStadiumClub92.jpgTopps89.jpg

Nice stuff. I have been meaning to pick up an 88 Fleer box to rip some time. I only got to open a couple packs of them when I was a kid. They were harder to find in my neck on the woods back then.

I LOVE that Team Pinnacle Griffey! Always wanted one. I remember how tough they were to pull back in 1992. I remember pulling my very first Team Pinnacle card of Ivan Rodriguez/Benito Santiago from a pack at a toy store in 92. Great rip man.

Ahh.. you reminded me about those Ultra Damage Inc. cards! I have been meaning to get one of those signed for years now. They would work great for some TTM's.

$14.85 seems like a really good deal for 1999 Fleer Tradition. I've always loved that design. Nice break!

Most. Some more so than others. All the boxes from the 90s had cards that were stuck together. I think that comes from them having gloss.

Yeah, that gloss cements those cards over time.Did throw out the ones that were damaged.Older boxes of Upper Deck don't stick together much over time, or at least in my case.Hardly any stuck together from the boxes I ripped. But '98 and '99 Fleer Ultra was awful.Tossed many cards in the trash.

There were a few that had some very minor damage. I didn't have to throw any cards away.
