That one surprised me. I saw him pitch in double-A Royals club as a starter and completely blew. The following year he made the team out of spring training AND All-Star team

Besides being the first Met to hit for the cycle and he hit the last homer at the Polo Grounds, he also had a hand in a rose of a play at the All Star game

Thats the first name I thought of when I saw the topic. I think he made it in either 98 or 99.

Doug Henry was definitely good people. He drove an hour out to my buddy's house back in the day to look at his memorabilia collection and hang out for a couple of hours. Super down to earth guy at the time

Listach managed the West Tennessee Diamond Jaxx once upon a time. Spoke with him on several occasions. Great guy.

Came to Eau Claire for an autograph signing in the Fall after winning the ROY. That was a big deal back then! Nobody comes to EC anymore. We got bypassed for Twins Winter Caravan last year!
