Mlbtraderumors is saying at least one player from the Marlins major league roster is going to San Diego also
Lot of buzz in New york that the nats would trade Lucas Giolito for Andrew Miller. If true the Yankee's would be crazy not to do it.
My Giolito stash would stand up and applaud.

Feels like they could hold out for more given how badly the Nats need a closer

From whats been reported they wouldnt do it, which to me is crazy. Let's see if they get something better.
I don't understand it myself, wow!! How is Giolito not enough for Miller, what are they gunna get for him? I just don't get it
Here is is the reason. Giolito is unproven. Yes he has tons of upside. But think about Joba, Hughes, Prior, and tons of other can't miss #1 guys. Miller was almost like that but something clicked. He has a low salary compared to other closers and has two more years on his contract and not a rental. He is dominant. The Yankees aren't rebuilding. They are reloading and that is why the even want to make a push for Chris Sale. So if they can hold off trading Miller then keep him and Betances together and maybe sign Chapman in the offseason because they have money coming off the books soon enough.
