OK I need 68 people to get into my 3rd annual free NCAA contest. All you need to do it post in here user you want in. I give away free packs and then a box of cards( my choice) to the winner of it all. For those that have been in it in years past can tell you it is a fun and easy contest to win stuff.
I'll post the rules and more info in the next few days and how it all works too. BUT FOR NOW GET IN THIS BEFORE YOU GET SHUT OUT.
Names and teams are randomly assigned using Random.org. So no need to pick number.
Example for being in this......... I'm in and thanks for the contest. and then post your first name

Ok here are some of the info needed for this contest.
There are 68 teams and they will be assigned Randomly to each of the 68 that are in the contest. 4 teams are a buy-in team that is how there is a field of 68 in a 68-team but ultimately there will be 64 after the first 2 days and then it will pair down from there to the Final game and a winner will be had for the tournament.
How it works: On the day of the games are even sooner, I’ll post the odds of the games for the up coming games, on that given day, if you have the favorite in the match-up, your team will have win by more then the spread of the game, for you to keep that team and move on to the next round with that team, or the other person you where matched up against, gets them and they moves on.
So being the underdog can really be a good thing in this tournament since the team you start with, will mostly not be the team you could win the whole thing with See example below. Same rules will apply for all games, even the 4 buy-in games.
There will be no pushes in this, either you beat the points (no ties) in order for it to be a win for you or you have lost that team to someone else.
If you’re the underdog person there is 3 ways for you to win. Your team beats the favorite outright obviously you keep your team and move to the next round, or the favorite do not beat the spread, thus you now have the favorite and your in and the person who had them is out, and you advance to the next round, with a new team.
Example of the spread of the game (and these are fictional for general Purpose only.) :lol:
#1 Wizard of OZ is favorite 7 over #16 Little Annie State, and you have the favorite team the OZ
They would have to win the game by 8 or more points in order for you keep that team and move into the next round. Note for half points the spread is posted with the half points but in reality it is the nearest whole number up. Example 6 ½ is really a 6 so you would need to win by 7 or more on those.
But if they win the game but don’t score the 8 or more, you would lose that team and the person you where up against would now have them, and they are off to the next round with your team. So see being the underdog is good sometimes.
Example of the underdog person claiming the favorites team and moving on:
#1 Wizard of OZ is favorite 7 over #16 Little Annie State, Final score is
Oz 67 (Joe has them)
Little Annie State 61 (Mike has them)
this is only a 6 point difference, so even though though OZ won the game they did not have the needed point difference for Joe to keep this team, so now Mike has them and is moving on to the next round.
#1 Wizard of OZ is favorite 7 over #16 Little Annie State, Final score is
Oz 67 (Joe has them)
Little Annie State 60 (Mike has them)
This is a tie and again Mike now has them and moves one

I’ll try and do my best in keeping things updated, but I work second shift and sometimes I will not be able to update until after I get home or the next day.
Good Luck to everyone and you will see that some of you will be a one and done in this after the first day, but it will be fun to see who will take it all, and will it be with team they started with.
I have done this for about 15 years now and only a handful of times, did someone win with the team they started with.
