I am a bit surprised he got this type of cash. He is NOT the same type of player that Cespedes, Abreu, Soler, etc are. He is little guy, 5'9", and we never saw him the WBC or similar. Curious to see how this plays out

I have a friend in the scouting dept for the pirates. He did not see Castillo himself but said that he got a lot of comments from those that saw him that he was a comparable athlete to mccutchen. Who knows how his game will translate but the feeling is that his ceiling is high.
