This will be a 1 case group break of 2008 BOWMAN DRAFT BASEBALL! With great autos such as Gordon Beckham, Jesus Montero, Buster Posey, plus Aflacs of guys such as Rick Porcello, Bumgarner and more! A 12 BOX BREAK!

This will be my second 2008 Bowman Draft player draft case break done on FCB. This time around, the details are all worked out and there will be no confusion, which will result in a much smoother and more fun break for everyone.

This is a player break. So when you buy a slot in this break, you are not buying a player (although you will inevitably get one of your own choosing, whether good or bad), you are buying a DRAFT PICK. The players you get are to be determined during the draft.

There are 181 total slots. ***Note: Most players that appear on the checklist in more than one section are considered ONE player and can only be drafted ONE time. Longoria, Kershaw, Volstad, Balester have RC Logo autos and base. A person who drafts one of these players will get all base and autos that are pulled of them. Montero also features a base and an AU RC card, both will go to the person that selects him. The AFLAC Autos will go with any player on the checklist. For example, if a Porcello AFLAC is pulled, the person who drafts rick porcello will get the aflac. I will also include a slot for AFLAC Autos of players that aren't on the base checklist that can be "drafted" by someone. This will include players that aren't on the chrome checklist like Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman. (So AFLAC slot gets ALL of the players who ONLY have an AFLAC in the SET {examples Heyward, Freeman, Blake Beavan, etc.})

Once everyone pays the draft order will be revealed, which is to be done randomly via random.org. There will be a draft for picks / trades until the live draft date (TBD)

The draft will be done via FCB chat on a night TBD after all slots are full and paid for. I want to accommodate as much as I can. If you cannot make it, or would like to submit a pre- ranking list of your players that will be fine as well. You may send me a PM with these lists. This will ensure that I get it and have it on record for the draft. If you are not going to be at the draft and do not send me a list, then I will select a player using my preranked list (so you will still get someone who should be picked at your pick and not the worst guy available)

Hopefully in a month or so, I will have a fully automated process to do these drafts. If I get lucky, maybe have something in place for when this one takes place. We will see.

That would be awesome, I have talked with Tom (Johan Santana 57) since I first brought the player draft concept to FCB a few months back and I am confident that we have all the details nailed down to be as efficient as possible. I believe he has done 4 or 5 of these breaks with various products since then and said they've all gone smoothly.

But if there was a way to automate it all, that would cut out 3-5 hours of work for everyone with the draft. That really would be awesome.

Good luck buddy, I've seen people taking one slot go both ways...sometimes you get lucky and end up top 10, and sometimes you get unlucky and end up bottom 10. The latter happened to me the only time I've bought a single slot in one of these

It does happen, derek2011 bought 1 slot in 05 draft and got #1 pick, took Braun but we did not hit one.
