Made the 1 hr trip to Lakeland this morning with my 2 sons who are off from school for the holiday. As expected mostly pitchers and catchers. Position players began to appear around noon when we were getting ready to leave. They were on one of the back fields where the public can not view, so we decided to go. I had heard Fielder had reported, but didn't see him. I did see Cabrera with the other postion players, but like I mentioned they were too far away to see well.

Here are some pictures from the morning workout....Enjoy

Nice to see Curt Casali in his first spring training! Should be the Tigers' backup catcher from 2015-2023, and then a minor league manager.

Super nice guy, and very approachable, too.

Looks like Duane Below was working out with the relief pitches. I would love to see him start, but they could use a lefty arm in the pen

Kind of surprised it got no comments....maybe FCB only gives a damn about cards, not art....

GO TIGERS!!! (Sad to think Maggs will not be around anymore...)
