Joe Mauer. Twins
The impact will be huge f he stays healthy. We all seen what the team looked like without him and the other players

Michael Cuddyer
Just an overall plus to the Rockies, I hope he has his best year yet

Taking their teams into consideration, and the lack of other help on some of the teams. I think it's going to be Santana, and Maybin. There's nothing going on in SD. Maybin better have the most impact or they are really in trouble.

My votes as well.

I think Beckham will break out too.

Yes there is. His name is Yonder Alonso.

In 2012 though? I'm kinda on the fence as far as impact this year.

I also picked Maybin & Santana. If Carlos can get his avg up from the tank .238 he will be a beast this year.
I hope Maybin's new contract doesn't change anything. If he continues to improve he's gonna have a big impact. Spacious park to play and he can fly. Don't see much as for power numbers, but SBs & runs should be good as well as hood defense.

This is a very tricky question. It presupposes that all or any of these guys will play well in 2012, unless 'impactful' can be negative :)

Escobar will only get better the more he plays at this level. If he glove gets any better, he'll lead the web gems count this year.

There's also Carlos Quentin

If Maybin's getting on, and Alonzo and Quentin are knocking him in,,,,,,,,,,then they still need to find 5 other guys to hit :)

I voted for Santana and LoMo.

Santana is clearly the THE man in Cleveland. If he can raise his BA and walk a few more times, his floor will be the ceiling for everyone else in the league at the catcher position.

Even though Hanley, Jose, Giancarlo are the stars of Miami, they will still need some help. If Logan gets himself 550+ at bats at the big league level, he could be the 3rd (or 4th, depending on Gaby) 30 homer guy on that team (he hit 23 in less than 500 at bats last year).

I voted for Carlos Santana. I think him being the best catcher in baseball next year is very possible.

I took him. I think many fans forget that Escobar chews up a TON of the field up the middle and in the hole and how important that really is. Although his range-factor sabremetrics have a few above him, I still think he's got the best range at SS in MLB.

I really don't think it's close......

And this wasn't every one in his career. These were select plays from roughly June 2011 on.....I didn't even search for the really sick plays....

Ditto
I same exact feelings, and voted the same.
