Hi.

In 2010, I was ranked the number 14 prospect in MLB.
In 2011, my ranking went up to the number 4 overall prospect in baseball.

Today, I was ranked as the #396 best baseball player by ESPN.

Who am I?

To be fair, being ranked at the top of a list of prospects doesn't necessarily vault you to the top of the list of MAJOR LEAGUE players. That's like wondering why the ROY and MVP races are drastically different.

Agreed. Being ranked with a bunch of players that have hardly played in the MLB, if any, and being ranked with 500 players who mostly are veterans in the MLB are two completely different things.

With that being said, judging by ESPN's Top 500 NBA players, I won't be taking this list seriously at all.

He's never going to hit with that swing. Way too long. Reminds me a lot of Maybin.
