I've been a die-hard fan for 40 years too and I don't see anything wrong with it.

Would I buy it? No.

Would I buy it before I bought some player's used jock strap like some folks? Absolutely. :lol:

Jeter's mom sold Avon, so he had a line of stuff with them. I thought that was kind of sweet to his ole mama. My wife's mom got it for me, and it wasn't bad or anything.

I see it from a point that they are trying every angle to get more dollars out of the fans. I have no problem when they sell items related to the business of the business. This just moves it to a whole different direction.

Diversification? Yes.
