Quick question on 2003 Bowman Chrome gold refractors....

Were there hobby/retail versions of the uncirculated gold refractors? I'm just curious since I'm looking at a checklist and it mentions that they are numbered to 50, but the one in my possession is numbered to 170

The pack pulled ones were unnumbered, but stated print run 50

Thanks... I honestly have no clue where I received this one, but it's numbered 51/170 on the back.
