Just got a reply from Chris Carlin.

"We will not be releasing any information or images on the 2012 SP Signature
Edition Baseball, but rather letting the product speak for itself when it
releases on May 1."

Now THAT'S what I call moxie.

I have to admit that I am intrigued. UD has put out some amazing cards over the years and I imagine that the licensing situation has forced them to step things up a bit. It's a rare product that I may actually buy wax. (Of course I could be totally off and this could be a total flop...)

From what I hear from a distributor it is a sticker dump and many cards won't feature a photo of the player.I don't know the validity of this though.

When is the last time UD has put out an on-card auto product? Obvious sticker dump. Stay faaaaaaar away!

This is an obvious ploy to get people to buy the product blindly so that UD can get paid for it, then leave the folks that bought it with their pricks in their hands.

UD should just sell the raw stickers and let people make their own cards as they would be more attractive than the junk they put out in World of Sports
