A's reliever Ryan Cook became the 59th pitcher in MLB history to record 4 strikeouts in an inning last night. Although rare in itself, his performance is one of only 4 in which the pitcher only pitched that one inning, and didn't allow any other baserunners (other than the batter that reached first via dropped third strike).
