By the way, the weak link I was referring to was Jaime Moyer, Guthrie and Jhoulys Chacin; the latter being on the shortest leash; Alex White can't wait forever. Anyways, Rockies have a very tough series in the Dodgers.

Kuroda is the luckiest pitcher tonight. The Orioles have squared up on about 10 balls now and hit them right at people.

Michael Kay on David Robertson "That pitch had a little cut on it!"

No way! Robertson has been throwing cutters 54% of the time this year. And they haven't been mediocre cutters.

Robertson is looking more and more like Rivera everyday.

Since August 1, 2011

35.1 IP
18 H
1 R
1 ER
12 BB
50 K
1 HR
1 HBP

0.256 ERA
0.855 WHIP

One swing of the bat, the only HR he gave up all of 2011, is the only blip in his stats.

Bryan LaHair continues to rake for the Cubs. Two run home run. He obviously should have been the Baseball America cover boy for MiLB player of the year last year.
