What is there to refrain from?
If a stadium isnt built, the team LEAVES, plain and simple!
And then 2-5 years down the road, the city of Minneapolis and state pays 4x the cost (and fully funds it, rather than just picking up half the cost now, 500 million vs 2 billion!!), to either get another team to relocate here with a new stadium, or if the NFL were to expand and put 1 team in Minnesota and again, build a new stadium.
No matter how you look at it, if football was to stay in Minnesota, a new stadium needed to be built.
Was the same deal with the Twins, new stadium or they were going to be gone!!! Were you complaining then?

And this is all coming from a Packers fan. It would have been a travesty for the Vikings to leave the state of Minnesota!

Having an opinion something doesnt require you to argue about it. State opinion and leave it at that.
