Paul Konerko got hit in the head by a Samardzija slider. Scary. Looked like a forehead shot by the way the helmet went flying back.

Kinda cool that Boston and Philly play at Philly across the street from a Celtics-Sixers game...

Cinncy-Yankees? Really?:???:

And I think the Parker-Zito match-up is gonna be pretty interesting.

Awesomely horrid stat of the night:

Yankees are 3 for their last 44 with RISP

I've gottong to the point where I shut the game off if the Yankees are losing by 2 after the sixth inning.

"Chooch" Ruiz w/ a two-run single. Stats-wise, he's been the best Catcher in the Majors this season. And that's from a Wieters fan. The locals have loved him since '08, but now his Bat is rounding into form w/ his glove. Plus, the Pitchers have always loved him.

Well, Hamels has a 4-1 lead and JV has a 3-0 lead vs. Pittsburgh. Two wins coming for them I bet...

Salty is hurting after he got a ball from Wiggintons arm to his arm to his ear. Ouch. He seems OK, just shaken up though, but he was bleeding from his ear.

Nope, Martin is soooo much better!

So glad he is sucking so the Yankees won't lock him up too.

Cano just hit one of the furthest HR I have seen in this Yankee Stadium

15 Rows deep, into the bleachers, in right.
