Agreed, chopping such a piece to make a couple hundred more $300 baseball cards would be a crying shame.

I think a jersey with such historic significance theoretically should be in Cooperstown for all visitors to enjoy forever, too bad it'll probably end up locked away in the winner's vault instead.
