Jeff Clement (2005 draft-3rd overall pick ahead of Ryan Zimmerman, Ryan Braun, Ricky Romero and Troy Tulowitski) - still playing in AAA at the age of 28 with the Pirates organization. Been in AAA since 2006 with 3 stints in the MLB since 2007...Longest MLB start came in 2008 with 66 games, 5 HR, and a .654 OPS

C.J. Henry (2005 draft-17th overall pick ahead of Jacoby Ellsbury) - Last game in the minors came at age 22 in A+....In a 272 game minor league career, ended with 17 HR and a career .649 OPS...Used his $1.6 million signing bonus to attend the University of Memphis and played college basketball and never got to the NBA..His 22 year old brother is an NBA bench player for the New Orleans Saints, who was assigned to the D league towards the end of the season

Those in MLB who suck:
John Mayberry Jr. (2005-19th pick) - 48 games, 1 HR, 7 BB/35 K, .588 OPS (Super solid partial year in 2011 though)
Cameron Maybin (2005-10th pick) - 46 games, 1 HR, 21 BB/38 K, .607 OPS

2006 Draft:

Luke Hochevar (1st pick-2006) - Still with the KC Royals - At 28 years old, his career stats are 33-48 with a 5.06 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP...Sterling auto generally ends in the $2 - $3 range

Greg Reynolds (2nd pick-2006) - Now with the Rangers from the Rockies - At 26 years old, in AAA....In 2007, in 8 starts, went 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA...Since then, has had trouble keeping ERA under 5.00..BGS 9.5 chrome auto ended at $2.25 recently

Billy Rowell (9th pick-2006) - Smoking weed all day, every day...At 23 years old, he's running out of time

Kasey Kiker (12th pick-2006) - Released from the Rangers, Final season in 2011 included only 1 start in 30 games...went 3-4 with a 7.05 ERA, 52 BB/54 K in 44.2 IP...He always could K a lot of guys, just doesn't work if you walk a guy for every K...If anyone wants a gold refractor autograph, I can get you one cheap

Will continue to add more to the top post..any guys who sunk a lot of $ in who busted? I'm adding guys I owned cards of that I should have moved earlier

You forgot the worst offender: Matt Bush

#1 pick in 2004 Recently arrested. Career possibly over.

I should remind everyone that a few years ago Josh Hamilton would have been on this list, had he not turned his life around.

I remember seeing his 1999 topps traded auto at shows for $5, now it's a easy $200.

Rare occurrence, yea....but it could happen again.
