Ugh...don't even know if I want to watch the game today. Hochaver blew yet another one yesterday against a team that hasn't won in 9 games and combined BA is less than .180 along with a few errors, passed ball, wild pitches, and a blown call on a play at the plate. Now they have Vin back starting after dropping him back down to AAA after he tanked the last time he was up.

Robert Andino is quickly becoming Mark Reynolds with no power. 57 K's in 189 ABs. It seems like all he does is strike out now.

And then gets mad about it like it's someone else's fault.

Brian Roberts can't get here soon enough. Who knows what he will do but it's going to be better than Andino. Our lineup has quickly turned out to be a medicore AAA lineup. Seriously, Andino, Chavez, Paulino, Pearce, and Tolleson. Ugh.

Paul Goldschmidt, last 11 games:
11 game hitting streak
Batting .400 (16/40), 5 BB/8 K, 3 HR, 6 2B, 4 RBI, 8 Runs

Went from batting .223 with a .630 OPS to batting .270 with a .795 OPS

Just picked him up off free agency as a replacement for the injured Carlos Lee

Joe Blanton just served up another home run to the pitcher. Isn't like that 4 bombs given up to a pitcher this year? LOL

Whose bright idea was it to make him a starter again?
More like whose bright idea was it to not take him out of the rotation by now? Ugh.

I didn't want him to be a starter to begin with. I have watched all of his starts, he is clearly not a starting pitcher. He just doesn't have it. And for those who say, "oh well he still learning how to blah blah blah he will only get better blah blah"....well, obviously you don't know crap because Bard is awful in the starting role and has shown zero signs of improving. This start made it a lot easier to slide Matsuzaka/Cook back into the rotation when they are ready to go.

Arrieta should become a relief pitcher. He's amazing the first 3 innings and from the 4 inning on he's a little league pitcher. No joke.
