Was very pleased with his work today. Left some balls out there and paid the price, but was able to deal with it and get out of jams.

I thought Matheny should have left him in longer. However that says to me that he will be around until Garcia returns(unless he gets shelled).
I think Matheny wanted to pull him while he still had positive numbers, something to build on .

I would like to see Brandon Dickson get another chance at the starting rotation. He reminds me alot of Adam Wainwright tall lengthy sharp breaking ball and good fastball. Just needs to spot pitches better and he can become a force in the starting lineup
