Today is my boss's birthday (June 15th), and I was looking at some of the MLBers that had his birthday, and came up with quite a few decent players in which to build a team:

I can't even build a lineup our of June 13th. Best position players are Ernie Whitt and Jonathan Lucroy, best pitchers are Mel Parnell, Darrell May, and a Boston Beaneaters pitcher names Fred Klobedanz who won 26 games in 1897. Oh, and I also have Tom Gastall, the Orioles catcher from the 1950's who's best known for dying in a plane crash.

I decided to check out my birthday, February 6th. Aside from Babe Ruth...you certainly aren't fielding a contending team with that list. Babe would be the best hitter (no shock) and pitcher on the team.

Three HOFers definitely help. I think the OF is a little weak. Not that the players aren't decent, but I would say that is the weak point of the team.

Pretty slim pickings on offense. Her pitchers would have to definately hit (Spahn has some power I guess

) Unless it's a young guy still playing, I didn't consider anyone with less than 1,000 ABs.

Gonna try my wife's birthday next, but I'm only going to post if it's good. EDIT: Her birthday, Nov. 27th, has the tough positions filled: 2 catchers in Pudge and Scioscia <- player/manager) and J-Roll at SS, but ZERO pitching and not much else offense.
