I posted a thread a few weeks ago about Jackie Bradley Jr. and the fact that he is my co-worker's cousin through marriage. We went to watch him play and meet him. I was floored with how easy he makes baseball look...and how nice he was after the game. I really could not say enough positive about this young man.

Looks like the "pros" feel the same way...

Losing Ellsbury seems to be a foregone conclusion. If JBJ keeps playing like this that will take away some of the sting. With one exception....JBJ is not a big guy or a power hitter. I hope his other tools and skills make up for that.

Very good article, thanks for sharing. I might dislike the Red Sox due to me being a Yankee fan since the early 60's, but I have been following this kid for the last couple of years and he could end up being one of my favorite players.

I will say that i didnt think much of Jed Lowrie nor Josh Reddick till they left and started being awesome.

Lowrie was awesome before he left the Sox! I knew he could be a great player if he could play full time and be healthy over a whole season.
