why is Jair Jurrjens still pitching in the majors?

I know it's only one year but even last year when he was an all-star his whip was not all that great. I know some have said he's lost it but I've never been one that thought he had it. He seems like a nice kid, I just don't see him ever being able to pitch consistently.

Jair is trying to adjust. You can't throw away his first half of last year.

I think you live too much in the moment and it stops you from thinking rationally.

Gilmore Dawg - Our starting pitching is turrrrrible. I said last year that Jurrjens was just a luck box first half and his ERA and wins were an anomaly if you looked at his WHIP. You are being myopic.

yeah not sure about that trade. rent Dempster for a year and send them Delgado. maybe if we can throw in Jurrjens.

Funny thing someone here in Chicago talk radio was saying that would be part of the package. But people calling into the radio show, said not a good thing to do. :lol:
