Couple of notes from Rotoworld:

Rays designated DH/OF Hideki Matsui for assignment.

Jon Paul Morosi of FOXSports.com reports that in addition to the Rangers, executives expect the Angels, Blue Jays and Orioles to "make a push" to acquire Josh Johnson from the Marlins.

Phils walk-off again...

After pitching to Braun in the 8th (HR 28 ), the Phils gave up run in the 10th before scoring 2 in the bottom of the inning. 4 wins in a row and 3 of them in their Last AB. Other was from 6 run 8th. Too bad it's probably too late for such heroics.

And Weaver making strong case for title of "Best Pitcher in baseball right now"...

As long as they keep playing Milwaukee. Right now, playing Milwaukee is a great way to get a worse draft pick next year...

3 games in-a-row that Milwaukee had a lead, then lost, on a blown save, 7-6. Elias, that's gotta be some kind of a record.

Let me set up a crime scene, old detective story style.

The year: 2002, shortly after the World Series.

The card: Francisco "K-Rod" Rodriguez Topps Traded auto RC.

The price: $200+, #1 on the "Hot List".

Many victims of this horrible crime. Hopefully time has healed their wounds. Some have recovered, some have not...

He's been dominant every year since he came to the big leagues. If you look at the numbers, this is his first bad year.
