Read on Hardball talk that they do not intend on picking up the 13 million option.

Any thoughts where he lands?

I will guess here in Arizona. We were interested before the trade to Chicago. 3B is a weak spot for us and Chris Johnson is not a long term option there.

I don't blame them, $13 million is a lot for a year of Youk at his age. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Arizona, but resigning Johnson would be the cheaper way to go.

Yeah Johnson would definitely be the cheaper option.

Youk will more than likely get a 2-3 year deal at 6-7m per: which isnt a horrible deal since hes good at 1b and 3b
