Wasn't Marcus Stroman just drafted?
Well, Josh Sale stinks anyways sooooooooo....I'm gonna sell J.P. all the cards I own of him, at reduced rates.
Stroman admits to taking an over the counter supplement that contained the banned substance. ::facepalm::
Rays prospect outfielder Josh Sale was suspended 50 games for testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.
Sale is the fourth player from Class A Bowling Green to test positive for methamphetamine and an amphetamine. The 21-year-old outfielder was selected No. 17 overall in the 2010 First-Year Player Draft and owns a .238/.345/.408 batting line over his first two seasons in pro ball.
They should really have a list of "approved" supplements to prevent someone from taking an OTC product that might have a banned substance in it. There are just so many similar products out there and some that do change formulation from year to year. If I was a player I'd be scared to buy any kind of supplement. DMAA basically replaced ephedrine when that substance was banned.
