What your take on the new automated returns on eBay?

Do you think it is a good thing or more buyer privileges? I think it could be good, as long as they have to verify the ebay provided shipping/tracking that comes along with it and only that shipping is accepted. Will you be opting in or out?

need to buy more EBAY - it's great for the paypal business to overpay for shipping on a return through "automated returns"!

I got the email yesterday which offers 5% off final value fees for September. I believe ebay is working to minimize buyer and seller interaction though this makes it way too easy for a buyer to return an item. I have decided against opting in.

I am in the same place. The only way it is good for the buyer, is if the return shipping label, through eBay, is the only acceptable tracking info. I've had "returns" that mysteriously never returned.
