This guys a joke Candelario at 16?

No Duane Underwood, Alcantrara, Villanueva, Torreyes and Mcnutt still high???

Anyways just thought I'd share even though it's garbage

Jonathan Mayo at MLB.com yesterday released his first post-2012 (minor league seasons) prospect lists – each team gets its own top 20, and there’s an overall top 100.

The Cubs’ list has already been discussed a bit by Luke this morning, and in the comments. For your viewing pleasure, here’s the top 20, according to Mayo:

1.) Javier Baez
2.) Albert Almora
3.) Brett Jackson
4.) Arodys Vizcaino
5.) Jorge Soler
6.) Matt Szczur
7.) Trey McNutt
8.) Junior Lake
9.) Pierce Johnson
10.) Josh Vitters
11.) Dillon Maples
12.) Robert Whitenack
13.) Dan Vogelbach
14.) Ben Wells
15.) Paul Blackburn
16.) Jeimer Candelario
17.) Gioskar Amaya
18.) Tony Zych
19.) Alberto Cabrera
20.) Marcus Hatley

Big omission - Juan Carlos Paniagua.

And McNutt has no business being that high.

Forgot about him and Carlos Rodriguez as well. 2 DSLers that I can't wait to see over here

The MLB.com lists never seem to be that good. In my opinion, Soler needs to be higher and Szczur, McNutt, Vitters, Whitenack, and Wells should be lower. Like others have said, this list has a lot of omissions.

Sorry to be OT, but the Rockies' list is funny. They have Bettis (who missed the year) @ # 3, Matzek @ # 4, and Dahl @ # 5. ::facepalm::

So basically Mayo is huffing something before he compiles these lists

I'll be posting my own organizational top 15 lists in about a month from now, for anyone interested.
