I have been considering attending the WBC Finals for some time now. Well I went on TM and did 2 tickets with the "best available" option. Well I thought for sure that I would get nothing but okay seats.
Wound up with
DUGOUT CLUB 1 DG
BEHIND HOME PLATE
PRICE LEVEL 1
Row F

Seems that there are a few super seats still available!

That is because I don;t think alot of people are even going to the games

It seems on a daily basis someone comes out and says they are not playing the WBC
for some reason. So I think people are not going because of who maybe playing.

Also I think the economy has a little to do with the ticket availability

very nice. How much did that set you back?
The tickets were absurd, I treated myself to an experience. $550 each + service charges. You only live once.

Who has announced they will not be playing?

you can see whos opted out. pretty much all of team venezula.
Hate to say it but I can care less about anyone on team Venezuela. The only players that I really care to see are as follows (not so much in order)
Ichiro (god it would be sweet to see him throw from the mound)
Jeter
Oswalt
Lindstrom
All of China
Dice K and quite frankly all of the Japanese team (to bad about Matsui)
Korea doesn't disappoint
Ruben Tejada--this kid does well and he will get a lot of camera time and recognition
JC Romero---nuff said
Bernie Williams

anyways, the timing on this is rather odd. Was the WBC the same time of year last round? I mean it is dead into Spring Training. Was anyone thinking about that?
