I think the MAP (Maximum Advertising Price) that Panini imposes on retailers is silly.....

Reminds me a lot of the last time UD did a USA set. Definitely happy for now and can't wait for the cards to release.

This is probably the best looking release that Panini has done except for hockey. Baseball and football releases all suck.

They're doing 15u team because USA Baseball did away with the 16u team, creating the 15u team. Topps and Upper Deck made cards for the 16u team for years. At the time the card below was signed by Joe DeMers, he was 14, turning 15 about a month before it was released.

Cut names from lineup cards, maybe panini saw my suggestion

Agreed. IMO the price is ridiculous. Cut the number of auto's in down to 3-4 per box, and put 1 GU and charge half the price. Seems silly to make this a high-end item. I imagine though, that for a set like this, printing costs are probably as much as the autograph costs, so it's a nice way for them to keep costs down by providing extra autographs and increasing the prices.

In the past I've enjoyed busting USA product and this looks like a nicer set than past releases, but at that price point there's no way I'd consider it. (Not that Panini is worried about someone like me who barely ever opens product, but I think the price point will keep many away.)
