Signed as a spring training invitee by the Twins.

Cut.

Signed minor league contract with the Yankees.

Traded to the Orioles.

Designated for assignment

Claimed off waivers by the Astros.

Traded to the Yankees.

Waived.

Picked up by the Orioles for the last 3 games against Tampa Bay.

Oh yeah his daughter was born last week.

Hopefully he'll get a nice portion of playoff shares from the Yankees and Orioles.

The shame of it is that, based on his minor league numbers, Canzler would probably actually be a productive bat if given the playing time at the MLB level. Given how atrociously poor the Orioles DH production was last year maybe he will get a legit shot with the O's. The O's DH's combined for a .240/.323/.407 with 190 K's in 2012. Ouch.

That's what I'm hoping for. I just don't really have faith in Betemit hitting vs. LHP...so I'm hoping between Reimold/Canzler/Conor Jackson that we can have a great RH bat at the DH spot.

Brandon Allen

Brandon Allen has been getting around as well. He gets bonus points for the Japan loop:
