after another shaky start to the season, the eagles have fired their defensive coordinator

times like this make me really miss jim johnson, easily one of the best D coordinators to coach the game

i still give the eagles a decent shot of winning the nfc east just cuz the giants suck, but who knows at this point. maybe the skins or boys can take it?

For him to fire a very loyal guy like Castillo is definitely a sign that Coach Andy Reid knows the pressure is on to win NOW. He might survive a playoff year, but definitely not gonna be around in '13 if they don't make the playoffs.

With road games at Atlanta and NO coming up after the bye, the timing is good and the replacement, Todd Bowles, although new in Philly, is a very respected Coach and could even take the Head job down the road, if necessary...

Yes
Since they sucked, it puts pressure on his suck-ass to try and make something happen. But his O-line helped with that getting his ass sacked about a billion times.
