So I picked this up for next to nothing from the lcs. After comparing it to several other jerseys online I'm pretty sure it is game used/issued. But I would love some opinions from others more in the know. Thanks for your help!

Who would fake a Bill Pecota jersey? However, isn't there usually a set and year tag, like it would say 1994 or whenever on a tag?
Cool jersey by the way. The Braves with the tomahawk is one of the coolest jerseys in sports.
Here's an example of a set and year tag:

This is what I thought too, but all of the ones I have seen from around 1993-1996 have the same tag that is on my jersey. I have no idea when they changed the tags or what is contained on each tag. That's why I have turned to the experts here to help confirm. Pecota only played for the Braves in 1993 & 1994.

Here is a 1996(can't confirm it is game used): http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atlanta-Braves-1996-Road-Jersey-22-Williams-Size-44-/120985098877?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c2b461a7d&nma=true&si=bq7qnoCuXTlhLVozTUkMCx7oy7s%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Here is a 1995(can't confirm it is game used): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-ATLANT...=&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

The Sanders with the issue tags has a different Diamond Collection logo than the OP's. The Sanders has the MLB logo on it with the set issue tags which is a good indicator it is team issued....

Here's a 1994 game used jersey with the "94" year tag on it.
It's Wilson brand, as opposed to your Russell Athletic.

And here's another '94 Braves game used jersey. It's Russell Athletic like yours, but with a 94 set tag.

I'm guessing yours is real, and the set/year tag was removed for some reason.

Pecota only played 133 games total in 2 years, with a total of 174 at bats. Maybe since he was more of a part time player, he didn't get a custom jersey like the Deion. But I'm just throwing out ideas because I really have no idea. But like you said earlier who would fake a Pecota jersey. Also, I wouldn't think they would sell Pecota jerseys at the souvenier shop either.

See how the name Pecota is made up of letters sewn on to a separate gray piece, which is then sewn onto the jersey?
I don't think replicas are like that. I've always seen replicas with the letters individually sewn on the jersey, without that extra gray piece.
I still think it's an authentic jersey. Again, who would fake a Bill Pecota jersey? Unless a big Pecota fan had one made for himself.

Some teams (it doesn't appear the Braves are one of them) stitch the year, player and set number on a patch under the neck (inside). Blue Jays and Yankees did this a lot. Jersey is authentic model, but may not be game used. It looks like there may be another little flag tag under the 100% Polyester one. If so, what does it say?

I have a ton of Giants jerseys from the mid to late '90's and none of them have a date tag anywhere on them, all of them look like the Braves one you have. All of my jerseys from that time period were bought directly from the Giants and all had a Dick Dobbins (huge collector and authenticator for the Giants) stamp as game used. I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of the jerseys, most are in storage right now.

I can dig man. Thanks for the info. I'm gonna go with real. Although I cannot put it in a specific game, still pretty cool.
