The #Padres shortening of fences is dramatic: moving in 11 feet in right-center, 12 feet in left-center. Also, wall lowered in RF

Padres tore it up towards the end. Itll be interesting to see what they can do with Gyorko coming up and if they can add a few starting pitchers.

I'm glad they did it. I don't get to see much Padre baseball but I remember how frustrating it was for players on both teams that played at Comerica before they moved in the left field wall. They still need to move in centerfield at least 10 feet. The wall says 420 feet but I have been out there at that wall and it is more than 420.

I heard the sox are bringing the monster in closer.

Apparently that way they dont have to worry about Carl Crawford letting softly hit liners fall in front of him to finish out the worst collapse in baseball history.

He's never been a real HR guy, always more of a gap hitter. But obviously this should help regardless of the type of hitter.

Pumped that Grandal, Alonso, and Tekotte get to play in a better park half the time.
