Has any offseason in MLB history been as much of a disaster as the 2012 Marlins? Spend ungodly amounts of $ while trying to look like a major player, dump everyone in under a year, paying a lot of $ to guys no longer on the roster, and firing your coach with 7.5M left on the deal. As someone who lived in Miami during school, HAHAHAHAHA

They may have a bought clause in there, so he may not be getting that much. But I think they have in the contract that when they fire him, he can't get another Manager job for how every long they pay him.......which works great for all Major League fans, since your team will not be able to add him as their next manager :lol:

He should never be able to manage again in the big leagues since he walked out on the Nats and that is how Davey Johnson came along. But it was a bleesing for the Nats though.

This says more about Marlins management and ownership than it does Ozzie.
The Marlins gambled on getting Pujols last year and lost. Now they are addressing those consequences.
