I've never submitted a card for grading, so I was curious how everyone else determines what card(s) should and shouldn't be graded. For instance, I can tell when a card is severely off center, but at what point does a card become sub-worthy? I assume most cards coming fresh out of packs are pretty good surface wise unless there is some obvious blemish or crease. Also, I'm assuming that only higher valued cards are worth grading because it costs at least $8+ to grade one even with the group discounts. What is the bottom line value card you would consider grading?
