Those are sweet. I was always fascinated by any of Reggie Jackson with the orioles. What book or magazine are these from?

1984 & 1985 "baseball cards" magazine

The one which made me think "wtf" was the raines, never knew that or the '80 reggie existed.

And this is why I collect & love these old card magazines. Sooooooooooo much great info lost & forgotten about which really sould be re discovered for hobby history & collectors.

Yeah that 80 Reggie Pepsi was interesting to see. I'll agree I love old magazines too. Usually you can find them cheap and they have some great articles. I seem to remember a beckett where they looked into Topps Vault photos. I don't know why but I seem to remember something about a photo of Denny McClain with the White Sox. They also had a story as to why Tony Horton never had a Topps card. Man now I have to dig out some of my old becketts and Sports Card magazines.

I love those old magazines and have a slew. I've often thought about chucking them but never could because I can still pick one up, start reading the articles, and realize I've just spent an hour doing so. There is a lot of good stuff in them.
