Smart move by the Rays, for their sake I hope he can stay healthy which has been his only concern...

Yes, he's the face of the franchise, but he's been injured a lot. He's not getting younger. They had a sweetheart deal with him, I understand paying him market value. . . but . . . It's not like the fans are flocking to the stadium when he plays now anyway. Big risk for the Rays. I guess with the new money from MLB, they're spending.
