Sorry if this was already posted, the story really seems to be way below the radar, he was always mentioned as a possible HOF member.

Per Ken Rosenthal- "It goes without saying that Miller should be in the Hall of Fame — his impact on the sport rivaled that of Babe Ruth and even Jackie Robinson. The Veterans Committee, in various forms, never elected Miller. The oversight eventually figures to be corrected, but too late."

RIP Mr. Miller- received this from him TTM 2-3 years ago.

Shame he wasn't inducted before he died. A lot of the team executives still hold a grudge. Not as bad as Buck O'Neil but pretty close.

I too have his auto (signed book) for my HOF collection. No doubt he belongs, but as has been pointed out, he pissed off the owners pretty bad. He will get in eventually.
