Interesting move. Not sure how it will pan out. I guess it's just a backup plan in case Manny has to be sent back down or something.

I was hoping he would have had more of a shot with the Sox at the end of last season...I thought he might have had potential.

He had a good RC season with the Twins, then fell off a bit during his 2nd year but still showed some potential. Last year was just brutal. I personally didn't like him and his attitude, but hopefully he can stick somewhere.
