Short story:

I acquired one of these cards early.
Then it took off 'on fire.'
I sold it on eBAY for a then high $179
The buyer never paid.
By then the card started cooling off.
List it again.
I sold it for $100.
The buyer never paid.
I just held on to it at that point.

Wow Chris I have about 3-4 of those and about 60 other Strasburg cards sitting on my desk. I think me should list some Stras cards today.

How do prospectors deal with just not getting paid for cards when a guy is hot, particularly on eBay?

For me if a prospect gets hot I list it BIN with immediate payment required.

That's pretty much every Strasburg card. I overpaid for about 15 of his autos just to watch them drop.
His cards where my drug of choice in 2010.

Don't you still get hit with paypal chargeback if they get buyer's remorse?
